The House of L.K.Bennett
Philosophy We are genuine, knowing that femininity comes not only from trends but knowing one’s style.
The History L.K.Bennett Founded in London in 1990, luxury British fashion house L.K.Bennett has since established itself at the forefront of fashion, offering sophisticated collections of shoes, womenswear and accessories to meet the lifestyle and requirements of every modern woman. Renowned for signature shoe collections and in particular the celebrated ‘kitten heel’, LK Bennett rapidly became the ultimate destination for elegant footwear leading to the introduction of womenswear collections in 1998. In July 2008, L.K.Bennett saw a significant step in the expansion strategy when Robert Bensoussan, co-founder of Sirius Equity, together with Phoenix Equity Partners invested in the brand as majority shareholders to support the continued growth of the company and a dedicated vision to evolve the brand into a design-driven international label with a luxury twist. In January 2009, Chief Executive Margaret McDonald, formerly Vice President of Banana Republic Europe joined the company to oversee the expansion of L.K.Bennett both in the UK and internationally. Parisian Creative Director, Annick Gorman who previously held creative posts at Celine, Cacharel and Galeries Lafayette was appointed to direct the design philosophy centred on beautiful tailoring, elegant dresses and a universe of style and refinement. Today, LK Bennett enjoys a successful retail presence both online and in 115 stores across the UK, Ireland and France. | |
