Welcome spring with weekend boots
21 February

All footwear has a purpose. Heels can be for the office or evening, while sandals are often saved for warmer weather.

While it can be easy to coordinate your shoes during the week, opting for some versatile designs to take you from desk till dinner, when it comes to the weekend this can throw up all sorts of problems.

Spring is officially here on March 20th, however the weather is still unpredictable, meaning that for more day trips and relaxing occasions it can be difficult to find the right shoes for the right occasion.

This is where the Salero Boots come in. With their flat sole and casual knee length height they fulfil practical functions, while remaining effortlessly chic.

The tan or blue denim options both come in soft leather with a suede-like finish, making them highly comfortable and easy to wear with a range of outfits.

Whether taking a walk through the park or spending a day in town with your family, the beauty of a flat boot is that there's little it doesn't complement.

You could go down the equestrian chic route and pair them with some leggings or skinny-fit trousers, which ties in nicely with this season's heritage trend.

Alternatively a mid-length skirt paired with wool tights could help keep your legs warm, without losing any femininity.

Why not match these boots with a light knitted dress?

The Tani Dress in a smoky quartz colour would look gorgeous with the tan shade boots, with its complementary neutral shades helping to keep you looking natural.

Come Monday, there's no reason not to wear this dress to work, as it quickly smartens up with the help of a slim leather waist belt.
