Awards season showcases array of sandals
Awards season is well underway, with celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic coming out in force to celebrate.
With the Grammy's last week and Oscar's coming up in the next few days, stylists are not being given much downtime between events to come up with new and innovative looks.
Last night's Brit Awards were no exception to the dazzling spectacle seen at the US Grammy's, bringing together a menagerie of men and women all dressed to impress at this star studded musical ceremony.
No details were spared as pop royalty entered the O2 Arena in all manner of glittering dresses, plunging necklines and jaw-dropping jewels.
Complementing many of the maxi gowns were some signature sandal designs - each helping to add elegance to the wearer, while also allowing them to show a little skin under their covered attire.
One lady who certainly stood out in her sandals was Florence Welch, who wore a pair of nude, cream and bronze wrap-around wedged heels.
Her vintage Grecian style strappy shoes helped to complement the singer's ruffled peach dress and pale complexion, while her red hair was worn tousled with a straight middle parting.
Also rocking sandals on the red carpet was former supermodel Lisa Snowdon, who opted for a striking orange pair to brighten up her cream bodycon dress.
If you're looking to inject some colour into an eveningwear look then why not opt for the Azure sandals?
Available in either coral or citrus, these macrame crossover sandals are a modern, sexy alternative to wedges and are bang on-trend for the upcoming spring-summer season.
