A new season brings new trends to introduce to our wardrobes. This autumn we’ve enlisted the sartorial skills of Founder, Creator and Writer of the Hues of White blog, Santïna, to pick her favourite pieces from our latest collection and style them her way. From the retro-inspired which borrow from decades past to ladylike classics taken for a spin, we’re excited already.
A tea dress is one of our favourite shapes and always features in our collections. We love the way Santïna has styled our new tea dress, the Daphne; making this traditionally ladylike style feel refreshed and renewed. The modern twist comes from the playful accessories and a pair of Sixties-esque white heeled loafers. Unexpected but exciting, contemporary and still classic, this outfit does it all.
With an unmistakably modish look, our Therese dress is crafted from beautiful Italian tweed and has a strong Sixties’ feel thanks to its above-the-knee cut. Perfectly designed to show off a luxurious pair of boots, Santïna chose our Brooklyn knee boots in croc-effect Italian leather. The combination of the tweed, moc croc and brogue detailing on the handbag, brings colour, texture and plenty of nostalgic appeal.
Sleek and understated, our collection also takes design cues from yet another stylish decade; the 1970s. Our bestselling wide-leg sailor pants, Parker, are back this season with an androgynous fluidity and ease. Santïna makes it feminine with prim and polished accessories and a two-tone plain knit. Sometimes keeping things simple - and just a little bit Seventies - has the best results.
