If you’ve found yourself in a bit of an indoor style rut recently, there’s no better time to pep up your work wardrobe. Although the perks of working from home may have worn off by now, we still stand by the fact that waking up and getting dressed - in something other than PJs - always helps achieve a sense of purpose and makes you feel ready for the day no matter what it throws at you.
So, we've recruited Natalie Salmon for some style inspiration, whether you're looking for comfort, going into the office or in need of chic zoom call attire.
It’s safe to say that the days of a sharp, tailored suit are long behind us. That’s why this season, our tailoring takes a laid-back turn, with soft fabrics and easy-to-wear shapes. Smart enough for virtual meetings, comfy enough for WFH. Natalie tells us, “I love the laid-back cropped fit of the Darling trousers and this look is formal enough for a meeting but still fun enough to wear again and again.”
If, like some you're heading into the office still, nothing is easier than throwing on a dress - one and done. In true L.K.B style, our new-season dresses are complete with beautiful prints and embellished detailing, Natalie explains, “I am obsessed with the detailed collar on the Mathilde dress, details like this are what really elevate an outfit.” Make like Natalie and opt for above-the-knee boots instead of tights to keep you warm during these colder months.
Light layers are the perfect solution while working from home. For days when the diary is packed with virtual meetings, opt for a crisp white shirt and add a pop of colour with our beautiful, pink tweed Celeste jacket. And for those days when you just want to feel snug and cosy, a fuzzy knit will do just the job. Pair with denim and your favourite slippers and you're good to go.
