If you are not completely satisfied with your items, we offer a 14 day return or exchange policy with a free returns service – unfortunately, this does not currently apply to international orders.
This policy only applies to items bought online at www.lkbennett.com and does not apply to items purchased in store.
When returning your items there are 3 options:
- Royal Mail Return
- Courier Return
- Return to store
Please note, that Paypal orders cannot be returned or exchanged in an L.K. Bennett Store and must be returned via Royal Mail or courier.
For returns to the warehouse you will receive your refund credit within 21 days of us receiving the item(s). An email will be sent to confirm that we have processed your return.
Royal Mail Return
Just follow these five simple steps to return your item via Royal Mail:
1. Ensure you return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt, and in the original packaging.
2. Complete the returns form enclosed with your item(s).
3. Place the completed returns form in the parcel.
4. Attach the pre-paid returns label provided to the front of your parcel.
5. Take your package to any post office counter and ask for a proof of dispatch. It is your responsibility to ensure the parcel reaches us, so you may wish to upgrade your delivery to a tracked delivery service. Please note that we unfortunately are unable to refund the cost of any upgrade to your delivery service. We strongly advise that you keep hold of any tracking numbers that the post office may give you. We regret we cannot be held responsible for the non-delivery of returned goods.
Courier Return
If you prefer, you can return you item free-of-charge via our courier service:
1. Ensure you return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt, and in the original packaging.
2. Complete the returns form enclosed with your item(s).
3 .Place the completed returns form in the parcel.
4. Attach the returns label provided to the front of your parcel.
5. Contact City Link Customer Services on 01530 275940 with the consignment number displayed.
6. Instruct the operator that you wish to return the goods, quoting 'LK. Bennett' as the account name.
7. Obtain a Returns Consignment Number from the City Link operator. City Link will then come to the address you have specified to collect your return.
For returns to the warehouse you will receive your refund credit within 21 days of L.K. Bennett receiving the item(s). An email will be sent to confirm your return has been processed.
Return to Store:
You are also able to return your item to standalone L.K. Bennett stores within the UK. Airport stores, concessions, stores outside of the UK and outlets are not able to process web returns. To return to the store, follow these steps:
1. Ensure you return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt, and in the original packaging.
2. Complete the returns form enclosed with your item(s) and ensure you bring the delivery note to the store.
3. Visit a participating L.K. Bennett store taking with you the credit card used to purchase the order.
4. The store will refund or exchange the item(s) directly onto your card.
Please note: Paypal orders cannot be returned or exchanged in an L.K. Bennett Store
Please return items in a saleable condition: Except for faulty items, please ensure that all items are returned to us in a saleable condition.
Shoes: When trying on shoes, the protective layer on the sole of the shoes MUST NOT be removed until you are entirely happy with your purchase. If you fail to do so, we will be unable to accept a return. We strongly recommend you try shoes on in a carpeted area and wear them for at least 1 hour before wearing them outside. Shoes with clearly damaged soles may not be accepted back by us. We request that due to the high quality of the fabric and colour used to make our Wedding shoes, that you use the gloves provided when handling them.
Clothing: When trying on clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing any deodorant or fragrance that may leave a mark or scent.
Jewellery: Avoid contact with deodorant, perfume, hairspray or water. Avoid scratches by storing in a non-abrasive pouch or box. Handle with care and do not apply unnecessary force. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of earrings, fascinators and hats.
We do not provide a free returns or exchange service for any orders shipped outside of the UK. Any charges incurred for returning goods back to us for exchange or refund are the responsibility of the recipient. We will only reimburse the postal charges or refund the original delivery charges if the item is faulty or has been sent to you in error. Items originally dispatched to the UK but returned from an international address will be subject to the International Returns Policy.
We strongly recommend that you use registered post, recorded delivery or another secure method of delivery from a reputable carrier, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for the returned items.
We can only refund or exchange an item if it is returned to us within 14 days of receipt. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods.
If you intend to return an item, please advise us by emailing customerservices@lkbennett.com as soon as possible.
The goods must be returned unused, in their original undamaged packaging. We will consider the condition of the goods being returned when making a refund.
You must return the item to us on cancellation in order to receive a full refund or exchange. If you notify us of your intention to cancel the contract, but do not return the goods to us, we reserve the right to deduct the cost incurred by us in recovering the goods from any refund you are owed.
We do not offer a free exchange service for any orders shipped outside of the UK. Items may be returned using the returns policy described above for a full refund of the items purchased.
Customers requiring alternative items will be required to place a new order that will include the international delivery charge.
