FAQs

How does Thrift+ work?

Add a Thrift+ Bag to your basket when shopping on www.lkbennett.com or ask at the till for a bag in-store. Fill it with your unwanted clothes, scan the QR code on the bag and send it to Thrift+, free of charge.

Thrift+ will then quality check, photograph and upload your items. You’ll get the chance to review your items listings before they go live on Thrift+.

When an item sells, you’ll have the option to earn Thrift+ credits* which you can donate to a charity of your choice, spend on one of our vouchers or on the Thrift+ store.

What can I donate to Thrift+?

Any unwanted clothes, shoes and accessories are accepted. Thrift+ don’t accept wedding dresses, children’s clothes or undergarments - see full acceptance list here and Brand Checker here.

What happens to items that aren’t listed?

Items will be listed for approximately 6 months, in this time the price may drop to increase the chance of selling. If it has not been sold within this time, the item may be retired and sent to their charity partners or their trusted recycling partners. Thrift+ are unable to return unsold items.

Can I edit my listed items?

Before your item is listed, you can edit your items. You can do this by going into your account and clicking ‘review my items’.

What fees do Thrift+ charge?

Thrift+ will only take a fee if your item is sold. The LK Bennett x Thrift+ bags and their shipping/delivery are free.

How will I receive my Thrift+ credit?

After an item's 30 day return window has passed, a sale is confirmed and your credit will be automatically applied to your Thrift+ account for you within 48 hours. You can then spend Thrift+ credits on an LK Bennett Gift Card, on Thrift+ on pre-loved items, or donate it to the charity of your choice.
