LK Bennett is a company that boasts a strong, female workforce. Our entire digital marketing and e-commerce team is run solely by a team of incredible women. LK Bennett is proud to say that 66% of its senior leadership team are women, compared to the 34% for the UK average.
For women's history month, we want to introduce you to some of the inspiring women that make up LK Bennett. We spoke to them to see what being a woman means to them.
A personal iconic fashion moment for me was the dress I wore to my university graduation. I’d been shopping around for a while, and finally found a dress that had a similar fabric to a key piece from the LKB collection I worked with while interning for my placement year.
It was a style that represented a formative period of my life and was perfect to wear at the closing chapter.
I think it's important for women to be in roles of leadership in all industries. Seeing women in leadership roles aligns with the idea that you can achieve anything despite your gender.

Amongst the earliest screen stars, there are few who walked that line as expertly as Marlene Dietrich. She was a leader of women on screen in her time and pushed the limits of femininity and restraint.
She defied the norms of fashion and was said to be the first woman to wear a trouser suit for a truly empowering and iconic fashion moment.
